For a limited time, Qatar Creates Membership and Qatar Museum Archaeology department invites the public to explore the active excavation sites at Ain Mohammed and Mesaika as part of the Landscapes of Faith series. Meet the archaeologists, see real discoveries as they happen, and experience how the past is uncovered piece by piece.

, Dr Robert Carter, this guided tour offers a rare look at the tools, methods, and technologies used to understand everyday life in early Islamic Qatar. Participants will learn how researchers uncover stories of craft production, trade, and community, and be among the first to view new finds from Abbasid-period textile workshops.

Capacity is strictly limited, and only registered participants will be allowed to join.

Participants are required to arrange their own transportation to the site. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Please note that the site is outdoors with uneven terrain. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a sunhat, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
