Inspired by the Around the World in Jewelry exhibition, this hands-on workshop invites children aged 9–13 to explore how jewelry can reflect identity, cultural heritage, and status. Drawing inspiration from traditional adornments and symbols of respect, participants will create their own meaningful bracelets dedicated to a respected elder, using beads, colors, and patterns to tell a personal story. Through this creative activity, participants will discover how jewelry can express appreciation, honor traditions, and celebrate the people who inspire us.
