Through this session, participants will earn the fundamentals of Japanese bookbinding techniques, discover how materials and structure and craftsmanship influence the design and durability of handmade books, gain insight into bookmaking through the lens of conservation-informed practices and create a hand-bound book to keep as a lasting memento of your experience.
