Cultural Preservation through Beading and Art

Join us for a workshop on Cultural Preservation through Beading and Art, led by two visiting Native American artists. Explore the history of the First Americans, including the Ute Nation, Navajo, and Pueblo Indians, while learning about their traditional lifestyles, social structures, and the efforts to preserve their cultural identity. Participants will gain insights into the shared experiences of indigenous communities across different regions.

The workshop includes a hands-on component where participants will create their own friendship bracelets. Learn about the symbolism behind traditional outfits and the art of beading, connecting with indigenous cultural practices.
