‘Frame and Focus’ Exhibition Tour & Artist Panel Talk

This exhibition tour and panel discussion offers an opportunity to explore the works presented in Frame & Focus II through the perspectives of the artists, mentors, and program leaders. Led by exhibition curator Abdulla Alkhalaf and Ziyah Gafic, Director of VII Foundation, and Rola Khayyat, Course Instructor, the session will examine the importance of photography education and the role of photographic practice in exploring personal experiences, cultural narratives, and contemporary issues. Featuring participating photographers and mentors from the program, the discussion will provide insight into the creative processes behind the exhibited projects and highlight the power of visual storytelling to shape understanding, foster dialogue, and connect communities.

تأخذكم جولة المعرض والجلسة الحوارية في رحلة لاستكشاف الأعمال المُقدمّة في "إبداع وإتقان الصورة II" عبر طرح رؤى ووجهات نظر من الفنانين والموجهين وقادة البرنامج. وتتدارس الجلسة الحوارية، التي يقدّمها كل من القيّم الفني عبدالله الخلف وزياه غافيتش مدير مؤسسة VII، و رولا الخياط، مدرّبة ومرشدة في الدورة، أهمية التعليم في مجال التصوير الفوتوغرافي ودور هذه الممارسة في استكشاف التجارب الشخصية والسرديات الثقافية والقضايا المُعاصرة. وتستعرض الجلسة رؤى عن العمليات الإبداعية التي تشكّلت منها الأعمال المعروضة، وتضمّ مصورين وموجهين مشاركين من البرنامج. كما تسلّط الضوء على قدرة السرد البصري في تكوين الإدراك وإثراء الحوار والربط بين المجتمعات.
